| Le personnel a été disponible et accueillant. Le petit est compris dans le prix ce qui est assez rare.
Cependant le ménage dans les chambres laisse parfois a désirer les miroirs ne sont pas systématiquement néttoyés et la climatisation est bruyante. |

| The front desk was very friendly and helpful. Needed a cab for the airport early and the front desk had one waiting on time. Gave us good information about area and English was good. Really a nice place to stay. |

| hotel localizado perto da praia, perto de restaurantes importantes, lanchionetes legais, tipo burguer king, mac, cafe satarbuks, tudo bem perto, otima localização.
quarto amplo, tudo funcionando, apenas que fosse de piso e não carpete , seria melhor.
atendimento excelente, cafá da manhã otimo, sem reclamações, recomendo. |

| The Staff at El Portal was extremely helpful. Going so far as to lend us a stroller, help us with parking and make good restaurant suggestions. The room was a little less nice then we thought it would be though. We didn't get to the roof deck or try the breakfast because our flight left so early. |

| I would first question why you are staying in this area to begin with...?? There's not a whole lot to do here, the beaches aren't that great compared to what PR has to offer.
The area isn't that dangerous, it's just dirty and a few blocks off of the path for restaurants and bars.
I'm 30, got off the plane at 11:30pm with my girlfriend to stay somewhere just for a night before leaving San Juan. It did the job, but next time I probably won't stay in this area at all. Old San Juan has some nice, old hotels in a better area of town but it doesn't take long to get ANYWHERE in PR, so don't waste your time staying close to the airport - not worth it if you destination is elsewhere.
About the hotel - people were nice, they moved someone's car so that I could park my rental in front (there are about 4 spots of parking TOTAL for this hotel...and very difficult to find off street parking) the elevator is out of order and the breakfast is on the 7th or 8th floor. Our room was very small, very small bathroom, but pretty clean, just old and run down.
Again, it did the job for us, but there are so many nicer places and nicer areas of the country that I will probably never stay around this area the rest of my life. If you have to, this hotel isn't that bad. |

| We were not impressed by the neighborhood, but felt very safe near the hotel. If we were to return to San Juan, however, we would be more likely to go to a resort area. |

| The service at the Quality Inn El Portal was impecable! The managers on duty were very helpful with booking taxis and providing information on the best local places to visit. I've never had as great of service as i've had during my stay in Puerto Rico, all of the hotel managers were amazing! |
