Recent Le Consulat Ascend Collection Review: "I was shooting blindly when I picked this hotel for our trip. Le Consulat far exceeded all of my expectations. Great rooms, great pool, great location, but most of all the staff was awesome. The manager, Janice, and her staff went out of their way to make our stay more memorable. They helped us with directions and told us about some places that we would not have found on our own. Every morning we were given breakfast vouchers for a wonderful little bakery down the street. The only thing was the parking situation. But in San Juan parking is a problem everywhere. The hotel has a contract with a parking lot around the block directly behind the hotel. It literally took us 2 minutes to get from our room to our car. It was not a big deal. The hotel was very close to restaurants, shopping, casinos, and the beach. I would highly recommend Le Consulat and we are planning on going back within the next couple of years."
