| The people during the early morning and day shift were very very nice. The room had a little balcony which was also nice. It was quiet, the AC was great, and we loved the comfort and cleanliness. I would stay here again. |

| The hotel is probably par for the course in that area for quality/value, and its NOT walking distance to Old San Juan.
Remember the name El Canario 'BY' the Lagoon. Definately not ON the Lagoon. |

| El Canario by the Lagoon was a great budget find. Incredibly great location to everything. However, simple conveniences like a hair dryer were not provided. The room was spotless though and the bed was comfy. For the money, I would highly recommend. Unfortunately, we had to leave too early to check out the breakfast that was included in the package. |
