Recent Conrad Condado Plaza Review: "I have good and bad to say about this, but overall i enjoyed staying and i would stay again. Its a little overpriced at the restaurants, room service and gift shop. A 2 liter soda cost me about 3 times what it should really cost. Each drink at the bar is about double what it should be. Another thing is that the pool is open 24 hours which is great,  but then they shut the slide down at 5pm. Makes no sense. The employees all said theres a timer and nothing can be done about it but im sure something can be done. The view from the room was nice. Its a nice looking room, modern and clean. Theres a clear glass shower which is pretty cool. A Safe and small fridge in the bathroom too. A microwave wouldve been a plus and i feel its needed because if you have leftovers from the restaurants downstairs you couldnt even heat them up if you wanted to. The car rental place downstairs was very convenient, the front staff at the hotel was very pleasant and they have connections to different tour guides. If you need a cab, the doorman pushes a button on the wall and the cab will literally be at the front of the hotel in the matter of seconds. Hammocks and small beach outside where nice as well. I would def stay there again, but i would be a lot more prepared to dodge the unnesesary spending on the hotel premesis for food and drink. I would bring my own snacks, drinks and liquor from the outside. As for meals, theres plenty of restaurants up the street and you can also take a cab to old san juan and eat somewhere there. Another thing, if you happen to bring the poolside towels back in your room for the night and the cleaning people come take them from your room while theyre cleaning, they wont mark down that those towels were returned. For some reason they dont communicate what room they take those pool towels from and you will be charged for them upon check out. You have to explain to the pool employees outside and they will give you a ticket to cover you for that. The pool area play"

San Juan is the capital of Puerto Rico, and its cultural hub. Half of the island’s population lives in the greater metropolitan area, and most visitors enter here as well. A 31-m (100-ft) freeform pool has water spouts at one end, an 18.25-m (60-ft) waterslide and volleyball net at the other end, and a swim-up bar in the middle. A freeform children's pool is adjacent. An 18-m (60-ft) saltwater pool and a large spa tub provide quiet retreats along the oceanfront.

A lagoon-view sundeck surrounds a two-lane, 15-m (50-ft) lap pool and a spa tub at this San Juan, Puerto Rico hotel.

While the resort's ocean frontage is rocky and unsuitable for swimming, a 68-m (75-yd) beach on the west side of the Ocean Tower is gently lapped by a channel forming the beginning of Condado Lagoon. A reef shelters the lagoon from ocean swells.

Thickly cushioned lounge chairs are arrayed along the oceanfront, on sunbathing terraces and lawns, and around the pools. Hammocks are strung along the oceanfront.

Guests can rent snorkeling gear beside the Ocean Tower pool. Kayaks and pedal boats for exploring the lagoon can be rented at the Lagoon Tower. Two lighted tennis courts are available for a surcharge.
